Job Requirement

• Knowledge in Materials Synthesis and Characterization based on XRD, XPS, and various Microscopic techniques

Essential qualification

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent

Monthly Emoluments 

• i. 31,000 + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions. 
• ii. 25,000 + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Mode of Selection

• Selection is to be done on the basis of an online Interview through MS Team. The date of interview will be notified separately through e-mail to the short-listed candidates ONLY after screening based on the applications received within the stipulated time. The engagement is purely on a temporary basis which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project, and the satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. The Project Associate shall be working at Chennai Zonal Centre, CSIR-NEERI, CSIR Madras Complex, Chennai. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would therefore not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption. Only the shortlisted candidates by the screening committee shall be called for the online interview. Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents including eligibility qualification, age, and relaxation duly verified, if any discrepancy is found, the selection/empanelment stands automatically canceled.
