1. Candidates must be an Indian National. 

2. Selection procedure: Candidates who satisfy the prescribed qualifications to the respective post(s) should undergo a selection process of written examination to the post(s) concerned. Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination, the provisional list of eligible candidates will be hosted in the TANUVAS website, “www.tanuvas.ac.in” / webportal, “tanuvas1.ucanapply.com”. The eligible candidates in the order of merit will be called for counselling in the ratio of 1:3. (The syllabus for the written examination for the posts will be hosted in the TANUVAS website, “www.tanuvas.ac.in” / webportal, “tanuvas1.ucanapply.com”) 

3. The University has the right to fill up more/less number of posts (or) not to fill up the posts now advertised. 

4. Any attempt by the candidate either directly or indirectly to influence the Selection Committee or other authorities of the University will disqualify his/her candidature for the post(s). 

5. The service conditions and other terms of appointment in the University are governed by the Act, Statues, Regulations and Rules of the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. 

6. Candidates selected for the post(s) shall be liable to be transferred to any other corresponding post(s) within the jurisdiction of the University. 

7. Selection of candidates already in employment will be subject to the employer’s agreement to relieve them. 

8. The age of retirement is fifty nine years. 

9. If a candidate is applying for more than one post, he/she should remit a separate registration fee for each post. 

10. If a candidate is eligible and opts for more than one special category, he/she has to apply once with requisite registration fee for all the special categories opted. 

11. After scrutinizing process is over, the details of eligible/ineligible candidates and the date/venue of written examination for the eligible candidates will be hosted in the official website, “www.tanuvas.ac.in” / webportal, “tanuvas1.ucanapply.com”. After examination, the details of date/venue of counselling and instructions to the qualified candidates will also be hosted in the above website/webportal. No individual communication will be sent to the candidates under any circumstances. Hence, all the candidates are requested to keep looking the TANUVAS official website/webportal in this regard.
